This article contains a quick tour of the features available on the Training Plan screen for training plans that you have already assigned to a team or individual member. This screen is available only in enterprise accounts. Members in personal or enterprise accounts who want to assign themselves a training plan should see Assigning Yourself a Training Plan. You must be an admin user or a team manager to see the features described in this article.

Training Plan List Screen
When you go to Training Plans screen, you see a list of training plans assigned to your teams. If you are a team manager, this screen shows you the training plans that are assigned to the teams that you are the manager of, as well as any training plans assigned to individuals on your teams. If you are an admin, this screen shows all the assigned training plans across all teams and individuals.
Use the following steps to view the Training Plans screen:
- From the dashboard, hover your mouse over your company name in the upper right-hand corner. A menu appears.
- Choose Training Plans from the menu. The Training Plans screen appears with a list of assigned training plans.
From this screen, you can:
- Create a training plan by clicking the New Training Plan button in the upper right-hand corner.
- Find the row for a particular training plan by using the search bar and Filters button.
- Toggle between the Training Plans View and the Members View by using the switch. The Members View lets see the completed, ongoing, and scheduled training plans for a member. See Accessing a Member's Training Plan Progress.
- Use the checkbox next to each training plan name to select it. When you select one or more training plans, buttons appear at the top of the list to Change Due Date, Archive, or Delete the selected training plans.
- See the Status, Name, Progress percentage, Avg Score, Tracking, Start Date, and Due Date for each training plan in the list.
Tip: You can sort the list by the values in the column if arrows appear next to the column name. - Open the detail view of a training plan by clicking the training plan name.
Training Plan Details Screen
Click the name of a training plan from the Training Plan list screen to open the Details for that training plan.
From this screen, you can:
- Change the name, Due Date, or Training Objective of the training plan by clicking the pencil icon next to the value you want to change.
- Jump to the screen for the assigned team by clicking the name, if the training plan is assigned to a team.
Note: If the team was previously deleted, you cannot click the team name to jump to that team. - See information about the team's or member's progress through the training plan.
As you scroll down this screen, you see tabs: Members, Content, Skills, Settings, and Related Training Plans.
Members Tab
The Members tab on the training plan detail screen lists the members of the team, if the training plan was assigned to a team. If the training plan was assigned to a single member, the member appears here.
From this tab you can:
- Use the search box and Filters button to find the row for a particular team member. Tip: If you use the Behind filter and see members who completed the training plan in the list, you know those members completed the training plan after the due date.
Note: This feature does not appear for training plans assigned to a single member. - See each team member's Status, Progress percentage, Avg Score, Last Activity date and Tracking.
Tip: You can sort the list by the values in the column if arrows appear next to the column name. - Click the Nudge button to send a reminder email to the team member. A window pops up with a preview of the email for you to review and change if necessary.
- Click the three dots on the right side of a team member's row to assign or unassign the member to the training plan.
Note: This feature does not appear for training plans assigned to a single member.
Tip: By default, team managers are not assigned to the training plan, but you override the default if necessary.
For training plans assigned to teams, you can nudge or assign/unassign multiple team members at once by selecting the check box on the left side of each member's row. When you select one or more check boxes, an option appears on the screen to perform those actions.
If you add a new member to the team after the training plan is already started, the new member is automatically assigned the training plan as well, unless it is past its due date. In that case, the new member is not assigned it, even if other members of the team are still actively working on it.
If the training plan assigned to the team is close to its due date when a new member joins the team, the new member does not change to X days behind status. Instead, the new team member remains in On Track status so that the system does not immediately begin sending reminder emails. If a team member needs more time on a training plan, you can Extend the Training Plan Due Date for a Single Team Member.
Content Tab
The Content tab shows the list of courses and exams in the training plan.
From this tab you can:
- See the type of content, Content name, Progress percentage, Avg Score, and Duration.
- View the content by clicking anywhere on the row.
Skills Tab
The Skills tab is where you can see the skills that the training plan affects and the member's score or the team's average score on those skills.
If the skill has component skills, you can click anywhere on the skill's row to drill down to the lower-level skill scores.
Settings Tab
The Settings tab is where you can view and modify some of the behavior of the training plan.
From this tab you can update the following settings:

Notifications: Click Edit to open a window where you can select the managers who should receive weekly progress updates.
Tip: These are the same notifications as the training plan reminders and nudges for the team members. These notifications are for managers and admins who are monitoring the progress of the team. - Clone: Click Clone to assign the same training plan to another team or member. The system takes you to the training plan creation screen and the current training plan template appears by default. You can change the name and content as you are reassigning it, but you do not have to.
- Send nudges automatically: Click the button to enable or disable automatic nudges for team members.
- Change Due Date: Click Change to choose a new due date. The system sends each team member an email when you change the due date.
- Edit Training Plan Objectives: Click Edit to update the goals of the training plan. Team members use this information to understand why the training plan was assigned.
- Force Training Plan expiration: Click Enable to close the training plan after its due date. If you enable this option, member can continue working on the content of a training plan after the due date, but the progress will not appear on the member's dashboard or any manager reports. You can use this option after the training plan has expired to remove it from the members' dashboard.
- Archive this Training Plan: Click Archive to stop progress on the training plan. Unlike a deleted training plan, an archived training plan still appears on team members' dashboards and the assessment progress is saved.
- Delete this Training Plan: Click Delete to permanently remove the training plan assignment. A deleted training plan does not appear on the team members' dashboards, but their progress against the content of the training plan is saved.
