This article describes the methods you can use to assign a Training Plan to your team. If you want to assign a training plan to an individual member, see Assigning a Training Plan to an Individual Team Member for Enterprise.
This article pertains to admins and team managers in enterprise accounts. If you are a member in an enterprise or personal account and want to assign a training plan to yourself, see Assigning Yourself a Training Plan.
Before you perform these steps, make sure that every team member to whom you want to assign the training plan is on the team.

Method 1: The Training Plan Screen
You can assign the training plan to a team on the Training Plan screen. Use these steps:
- From the dashboard, click the building icon in the upper-left corner. Click Training in the management dashboard navigation to expand the menu, then click Training Plans.
The Training Plans screen appears. - Click the New Training Plan button in the upper right corner.
Clicking this button starts a process where you choose:
- The team (or member) to which to assign the training plan
- The training plan template
- the schedule

Method 2: Job Role Paths
Some training plans related to particular job roles appear already created in the training library. You can assign job role path training plans from the Job Role Paths screen on the management dashboard (see Job Role Paths) or directly from the training library. Assigning a training plan from the training library is similar to assigning one from the training plan screen. Use the following steps:
- From the dashboard, click Browse Library from the top navigation. Alternately, click this link to the training library.
The training library appears. - Click an option under Job Roles in the left navigation.
A list of training plans related to the job role appear. - Click one of the training plans.
A screen appears with information to help you evaluate the training plan and decide whether it is the one you want to assign. - Click Assign to my team.
Clicking this button starts a process where you choose:
- The team (or member) to which to assign the training plan. You can also create a team.
- The schedule.
Method 3: The Teams Screen
You can assign a training plan to a team from the Team screen. Use these steps to assign a training plan to a team from the Team screen:
- From the dashboard, click the building icon in the upper-left corner.
The management dashboard appears, open to the Organization screen by default. - Find the team to which you want to assign the training plan and click the team name from the row. The team screen appears.
Tip: You can use the search bar to help you find the team you're looking for. - Click Show to the right of Team activities and click New Training Plan from the panel that appears.
The training plan workflow appears. You can follow the on-screen prompts to complete the workflow. See the Creating a Training Plan article for step-by-step instructions.
If the team already has one or more assigned training plans when you assign one, a card appears for each training plan, in the order they were assigned. The next training plan you assign will be scheduled to begin after the existing training plans are complete. Note: Any team members who finish a training plan ahead of schedule can start on the next training plan right away.
Method 4: Clone an Existing Training Plan
You can take advantage of work you've already done to choose the content of a training plan by cloning. Use the following steps:
- From the dashboard, click the building icon in the upper-left corner. Click Training in the management dashboard navigation to expand the menu, then click Training Plans. The Training Plans screen appears.
- Find the training plan you want to clone and double-click the name to open it.
Tip: You can use the search and filter tools to help you find the training plan you want. - Scroll down to the tabs and click the Settings tab.
- Click the Clone button.
The training plan workflow appears. You can follow the on-screen prompts to complete the workflow. See the Creating a Training Plan article for step-by-step instructions.
