This article describes your options for logging in to your QA account through the web platform and the mobile app.
This article contains the following sections:
Web Platform Login Screen
To access the QA self-paced learning platform, you can go to https://platform.qa.com/login/.
Note: If you are a member of an enterprise that uses single sign-on (SSO), you have a special URL you can use to log in. See the Log in to your company workspace section later in this article.
From the login screen, you have several options:
- Sign in with Google
- Sign in with Apple
- Log in to your company workspace
- Sign in with your email address and password
The following sections describe these login options and how you use them.
Sign in with Google
When you create your QA account through the web platform or the mobile app, you have the option to choose to authenticate with a Google account. If you choose that option, you should use the Sign in with Google button to log in. Even if you didn't choose this option, if you created your account using a Gmail email address, it is possible to switch to using this method to log in.
Note: Once you start using the Sign in with Google button to log in, you must continue using that button. If you want to go back to using your email and password, contact platformsupport@qa.com.
If you set up your account to sign in with Google, your Gmail address will receive email alerts for your account.
Sign in with Apple
To sign in with Apple, you must have created your account using the mobile app on iOS. When you want to log in to the web platform, you can choose the Sign in with Apple button and follow the prompts.
The email address you have registered with your Apple account will receive any email alerts from your QA account.
Log in to your company workspace
Login with your company workspace is available only for users who are members of an enterprise account that has set up single sign-on. If your enterprise uses SSO, you can:
- Click the Login to your company workspace button on the sign-in screen and then enter your company subdomain on the screen that appears. If you don't know your company subdomain, contact your administrator.
- Go directly to your enterprise's custom login URL and skip the step of entering your company subdomain. If you don't know your company's custom login URL, contact your administrator.
Tip: Bookmark your custom login URL to find it easily.
If you log in with company SSO, your corporate email address will receive any email alerts from your QA account.
Special note for users who logged in with a username and password before SSO
Sometimes enterprises start a QA enterprise account and then implement single sign-on later. If you used an email address and password to log in before SSO, you can continue to use them until you are ready to switch to using single sign-on. When you're ready, click Log in with Company SSO or use your enterprise's custom login URL and the platform will convert your user to using SSO. Once you change to using your enterprise's SSO, you cannot go back to logging in with your old credentials.
Sign in with Email Address and Password
To sign in with your email address and password, you do not need to worry about any other authentication service. Just type in your email address and password and complete the CAPTCHA to log in. The email address you use will receive any email alerts from QA.
Tip: Make sure you log in with the email address you used to register for your account. A common login mistake we see is users failing to log in because they're using an incorrect email address.
Mobile Login Screen
When you open the QA mobile app and tap the Login button, a login screen appears.
If you are just creating an account, tap Register now and options to set up your account with an email address, Google, Apple (on iOS) or company SSO appear. Whichever option you choose here continues to be your login method any time you need to sign in to the mobile app or on the platform.
