This article answers questions about the Invite a Guest widget you might have noticed within a lesson:

What is Invite a Guest for?

This tool lets you share one lesson each with up to 10 invitees who don't already have an account. Your invitee will have seven days to complete the lesson you share for free!

How do I share a lesson?

To use this tool, just use the web platform to open a lesson that you want to share and click Invite Guest on the left side of the screen. A window appears to take you through the steps to share the lesson with your invited guest. 

How many people can I share with?

You can share one lesson with up to 10 different people. You do not have to share the same lesson with all 10 people.

Can I share content other than courses?

No, you see this tool only on courses, not hands-on labs, exams, or other type of content in the training library. 

Are there any limitations on what the invitee can do?

Each invitee will have access to only the lesson you shared for seven days. They also can see a history of what you have been studying.

Can the people I invite still start a free trial even after they've used the lesson for 7 days?

Yes! After your guests use the lesson you shared for 7 days, they are still welcome to start a free trial of their own.
