This article describes knowledge checks in QA. This feature is available to personal and enterprise users.
This document contains the following sections:
What Is a Knowledge Check
A knowledge check is a short, 3-to-5 question exam that appears at the end of most lessons. The questions in the knowledge check specifically cover the content in the lesson so you can check your understanding of the concepts.
If the lesson that contains the knowledge check is part of a course, the system shows a Go to next step button at the bottom of the screen once you complete the knowledge check. However, you can always stay or return later to retry the knowledge checks as many times as you like.
Tip: Click the X on the Next Step banner to minimize it.
How to Take or Retake a Knowledge Check
Knowledge checks appear automatically after the last video of a lesson. Just answer the questions to take the knowledge check.
Note: If you don't know the answer to a question, you can select the I don't know option. Even though the system counts this as an incorrect answer, you should use this option rather than guessing to capture realistic data about your progress learning the topic.
You can retake the knowledge check later by finding the lesson on the My Activity tab on the home page.
Click a lesson to open it, and then choose the knowledge check from the Contents list.
