On the session page, you will find essential features and actions:
- Add to calendar functionality
- Test your setup
- Countdown timer
- Find any related content and learner materials for your session
The "Add to calendar" button will turn into "Join the live session" when the session starts. |
At the end of the sessions, you will be prompted to provide feedback by completing a quick survey and downloading the recording [if the recording is on].
A quick guide to navigating the QA Platform's video conferencing tool
1. Adjust your layout view
2. Adjust your microphone/camera/audio settings and turn on captions (must be enabled by an instructor first)
3. Right-hand side: Toggle between chat and participant list using the top menu buttons

Tips for the live session
1. Check your setup before the live session!

2. Ensure your browser is up to date - Chrome is the recommended browser
3. Connect to a stable network, preferably through an ethernet cable, especially when using an older device. Check your connection by searching for ‘speed test’ - use sites like fast.com, Ookla, and Google speed test.
4. Use headphones or a headset to prevent background noise and audio feedback. You can also toggle on noise cancellation in the audio settings of the live session
