When you are browsing the training library, completing a course, or setting up a Training Plan, you might come across quizzes and exams. Both quizzes and exams contain questions to test your knowledge, but the two tools have important differences, as you can see in the table below:
Quiz | Exam |
Purpose | Check your knowledge of a small subject area | Check your knowledge of an entire topic |
---|---|---|
Number of Questions | A maximum of 5 | Any number |
Timing | A new 1.5-minute timer appears for each question. | A timer appears for the entire exam. |
Navigation | You can only move forward to the next question. | You can navigate between questions and modify the answers as many times as you want while the session is still active. |
Results | You find out whether you got the right answer when you complete all 5 questions. | You find out your score after you submit the whole exam. |
Enterprise users cannot create custom quizzes but can create custom exams in Content Engine.
