You can find the Skill Assessment tab within the Training section in the Enterprise panel
1. Select Who to Assess
The first step is to decide who the target of your training is. We have provided different rules to help you manage your assessments at scale.
Across your organization
Assess Job Roles: This can be useful for assessing everyone who performs a certain role. The platform will automatically assign the assessment to anyone with this job role and future members who are assigned to this job role.
Company Teams: Assess a whole team within the business. When you choose this training, the system automatically assigns the program to a member as soon as they join your QA account.
Note: Currently, the platform does not have a way to differentiate new employees who join your account from long-time employees who join your account.
Individual Company Members: Assess individual employees on knowledge specific to their position or skill set.
Admins can create assessments for individuals, teams, or job roles whereas Team Managers can assess only teams. |
2. Define the Skills to Assess
Next, you will be asked to define the skill you want to assess, either a Hands-on Lab Assessment or a Question-based Smart Assessment.
Managers can see the assessment type by selecting the relevant skill, or preview the assessment by clicking the "Preview" button in the "Selected Skills".
The members' performance on the assessments indicates whether they can skip some of the beginner-level content to achieve the level of proficiency you indicated.
Assessments can only be conducted using Smart Skills; no other content can currently be assessed. |
3. Define Due Date
Once you have selected the skills to be assessed you can define a due date for the assessment and deploy the assignment to the selected members.
Once the assessment is deployed, you will be able to monitor progress and results on the Assessment details page → |
