Certifications
Many people start using QA with a goal of earning certifications. Though QA does not provide certifications, we do offer the training you need to sit the certification exam and earn the certification from AWS, Google, Microsoft, and other certification providers.
Once you have earned a certification, you can upload it to your QA account. When you upload a certification, it appears on the Certifications tab on your profile. The Certificates of Excellence that you earn for completing courses in QA appear on this tab as well, so the Certifications tab can be a convenient central location to maintain all your learning accomplishments.
You can share the items from your Certifications tab to your LinkedIn profile. If you are a member of an enterprise account, the certifications that you upload appear for your manager and admins to find when they're looking for someone in your organization with a particular certification or skill set.
Note: It may take up to an hour after you upload your certification for it to appear in your manager's account.
How to Upload a Certification
Use these steps to upload a PDF of your certification to your QA account:
- From the dashboard, hover over your profile picture or initials in the upper-right corner. Click your name from the menu that appears.
Your personal profile appears.
- Scroll down to the My certifications section and click the Upload a certification button.
The Add new certification form appears.
- Complete the form and click Add certification.
Your certification appears on your personal profile.
From here, you can add the certification to your LinkedIn profile or upload another certification.
When you upload your certificate, the platform scans the file. The scan should take only a few seconds. If you encounter problems while uploading your certificate, you can refresh the page and try uploading the same file again. If that doesn't work, you should check the file on your own system and try running a virus scan on the file.
If the file seems to be correct and you still can't upload it, contact support@cloudacademy.com for further assistance.
