Welcome to QA! We're so glad to have the chance to share our training experience with you and help you acquire the skills you need for now and in the future. This article is a getting started guide for enterprise account team members, so if that's you, you're in the right place!
Your Email Invitation
By now, you have probably received your invitation email asking you to set up your account. If not, check your spam folder! If necessary you can always reset your password. The email should look something like this:
Click Create Your Account to open the welcome screen and get started.
The name that the inviter entered appears here in these fields, but you can change it if you want. Then, all you have to do is choose a password and agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
Tip: You can also add a profile picture here, or you can do it later.
Note: If your enterprise has set up single sign-on, then you use your regular network credentials to log in to your QA account rather than setting up a new username and password.
When you're ready, click Continue >.
Next you'll see the invitation to download the mobile app. The mobile app is great for completing training when you're away from your computer. You can download content to complete offline or even use it as a second screen when you're working on hands-on labs.
If you're ready to download the mobile app, the app is ready to send a magic link to you via email or text message. If you're not ready yet, you can always do this later from the Dashboard.
Your Assessment
You may have been assigned an assessment. This isn't a test that you can pass or fail: this just tells your team manager where you're starting from so they can assign training content that's the right difficulty level.
When the assessment starts, all you have to do is choose the best answer and click the button to submit your answers.
Tip: If you started the exam and realize you don't have time to finish it, you can click Discard Exam and start it again later. Most assessments only take about 10 minutes.
When you're done with all the questions, a window pops up. Click Submit Exam to make it official and see your results.
Your results pop up on the next screen.
You see how many answers you got right and how long you spent on the assessment. Below, you can see how the results affected the skill scores on your Skill Profile. If you want to take the assessment again, you can click Repeat session, but probably by now you're ready to click Dashboard from the very top of the screen and get started.
Your Dashboard and Training Plan
You can click the home icon in the top toolbar from almost anywhere in the platform to come back to this dashboard.
The dashboard has a lot of great information. From here you can jump right into your assigned training, navigate through the platform, upload certifications, and more. See the Dashboard article for a complete tour.
If you have trouble, you can always contact your Customer Success Manager or platformsupport@qa.com. We're here to help!
